MURANO AND BURANO

THE CHARM AND TRADITIONS OF THE VENETIAN ISLANDS

The best experience to discover the ancient arts of the islands of Murano and Burano in the Venetian Lagoon. The boat will pick you up directly from your hotel and, leaving behind the beautiful city of Venice, you will arrive at the first island of your tour, Murano.

Famous worldwide for its glass, you will visit one of the oldest original glass furnaces in Murano, where a renowned Master glassblower will show you how these authentic works of art are created—some of which are exhibited in museums.

As you stroll through the town center, you’ll admire the palaces and monuments of Murano, which is the second-largest island in the lagoon.

The tour then continues by boat across the historic lagoon to the island of Burano.

Famous for its lacework and colorful atmosphere, this island is smaller in size but not in the attractions it offers.

Strolling among picturesque houses and tasting the typical “bussolai” (the island’s famous cookies), you’ll feel like a local. But don’t miss a visit to a historic lace workshop, where lace-makers still create these handcrafted masterpieces using the same technique passed down from generation to generation.

Finally, enjoy your return trip to Venice with an extraordinary view of the city.
